Member benefits

Connection: You are connected to a larger group of home school families banded together to produce positive results for our community.  We also have a members only private Facebook group: Indian River Homeschoolers Association (IRHSA) which is another source of homeschooling encouragement, questions, answers, events, and more. You will also gain full access to our IRHSA members website, which hosts everything you will need to homeschool in IRC.

Mentorship Program: Mentors within the program are volunteer IRHSA members who have extensive homeschooling experience and are capable to give advice and direction on any homeschooling questions you may have. While searching the internet for answers can be a great help, there really is nothing like being able to talk with someone who has the wisdom from many years of hands-on experience. The wisdom our mentors share is available to all IRHSA members.

Co-ops: Connected with dozens of co-ops and classes that you can choose from based on your students age and stage of life.

Events and Trips: There is plenty to keep your student busy around our area in between classes. Meet new people and develop great relationships with the events that our home school parents coordinate.

Curriculum: Get the inside scoop on the best curriculum for your student from parents who have been where you are before. Use our Facebook messenger system or subscribe to the homeschoolers forum to keep on touch with the community

Information and Resources: The association keeps members in touch with each other and current issues through the association’s web site and email updates of emerging issues relevant to home school.
