Join us for a time to help with whatever needs done at the garden. Wear closed toed shoes, bring gloves, a water bottle, a hat and sunscreen. We will work together to complete the tasks needed for that day. Sometimes we plant and other times we harvest or weed. Older Students can also receive volunteer hours while participating at the garden.

Shining Light Garden does so much for our community, and we look forward to helping any way we can.

All vegetables are given to local food pantries, soup kitchens, veteran organizations, and senior programs - providing food to families in need.

The garden also grows beautiful flowers for VNA Hospice House and supplies Miracle Fruit to help those who are going through chemotherapy to help them through their healing process. This fruit also helps anyone whose food has lost their flavor.
