Schacht Groves Field Trip
This will be a fun tour of the oldest family-owned orange groves in Vero Beach. Families will be through a small portion of the young grove, while learning about Florida citrus. There will be time for Q/A while in the grove. After touring the grove, families will be led through the packinghouse where they will see fruit run and juice being made. Families will be able to pick oranges to purchase after the tour. The farm store has ice cream for $3, outside tables, a sand box, and a pond where fish and turtles can be observed.
This is a free event, but please bring money if you wish to purchase oranges or ice cream.
